CRD – a disease causing silent losses

In poultry production, CRD is one of the single biggest causes of lost profits.

The disease usually does not cause mass mortality but silently reduces weight gain, increases FCR, lowers flock uniformity, and raises medication costs.

Therefore, the flock may still look normal, but end-of-cycle profits drop significantly due to underlying CRD.
