SGV-CEPTIFUR 100 LA contains Ceftiofur 100 mg/ml , for the treatment of respiratory disease in pigs caused by Streptococcus suis, Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae (APP), Pasteurella multocida and Glaesserella parasuis .

INDICATIONS
Treatment of respiratory disease in pigs caused by:
Streptococcus suis
Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae (APP)
Pasteurella multocida
Glaesserella parasuis (formerly known as Haemophilus).
DIRECTIONS FOR USE

Shake well before use.

Administer by intramuscular (I.M) injection into the neck behind the ear as a single dose.

Dose: 5 mg Ceftiofur/kg body weight.

Practical equivalent: 1 ml SGV-CEPTIFUR 100 LA / 20 kg body weight.

Route of administration: Intramuscular (I.M) injection into the neck behind the ear.

PRECAUTIONS

• Do not inject more than 2 ml at each injection site.

• Use of doses exceeding 5 mg Ceftiofur/kg or an incorrect route of administration may result in antibiotic residues.
